3rd-Jan-2010 01:27 pm - valiant
I teach the Valiant class at Church. This means during Sunday School I get to teach 8-11 year olds.

Today we started the Old Testament. The first lesson was on the Pre-mortal existence(original link) and what we must do to return to Heavenly Father.

I have about 9 children on the roll, but being a small branch like we are, it varies. It also depends on if it's Fast Sunday, as fewer people come then. I had 4 today.

As of posting, my Saints were getting beat 7-3 nearing halftime. Come on now.
[edit 1]: 14-3 at half, blah.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Really? With all the Islamic terrorism going on, there are still people who call themselves Christian that attack other Christians? Pitiful.

From Nampa pastor leads drive to convert Mormons | News Updates | Idaho Statesman

A media campaign has been launched in eastern Idaho against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I would have much more enjoyed a rout the other direction. I love seeing the underdogs beat down a team who thinks they're all that. Florida is good, but they aren't invincible.

NEW ORLEANS -- Tim Tebow rose above all the distractions caused by coach Urban Meyer's uncertain future and capped a storied college career with his finest performance.

It was the best in BCS history, too.

1st-Jan-2010 09:40 pm - gaming addictions ftl
Note to self: Don't look at World of Warcraft stuff unless you want to go back to playing. I quit it back in September because I was just plainly addicted. A couple weeks later someone hacked my account. I haven't even cared enough to seriously try to get it back. Just now looked at the Armory pages for my characters, all but my hunter was naked. (had an 80 hunter, mage, and paladin). I haven't been charged monthly for the account, so I guess if I do go back, a level 1 it is.

I tried to connect my account with the new battle.net thing a couple weeks ago, it told me the account was already being used. But, I'm not paying for it, so it's fine with me, though it would suck if I do come back.

Just looking at the youtube videos for 3.3 makes me almost go through withdrawals. But I still do it. Ah, addictions.
1st-Jan-2010 09:20 pm - decisions
I couldn't decide if I want to use my own site for a blog or to keep using LJ.

My own site blog has about the same features LJ does except LJ has the whole community thing. My own site would give me a little more power and I could maybe trust that it has more uptime. But I don't really blog that much, and no one really reads these anyway, so I think I may keep using LJ even if I have to buy a paid membership every year.
1st-Jan-2010 02:33 pm - new year 2010
The new year is upon us, finally.

I can't really complain about it, it wasn't too bad for me.
